Melissa W. Schwarzschild, M.D., J.D.

Melissa W. Schwarzschild, M.D., J.D., is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Richmond.  She earned her law degree from the University of Virginia and medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia-Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  Dr. Schwarzschild completed an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at MCV.  She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Schwarzschild’s areas of interest include laser and dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.  In addition to the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Schwarzschild is a member of:
